As Second Story Design I work with design agencies, small businesses, non-profits and colleges to create design solutions that work in the real world. My goal is to facilitate a client's communications using clean, targeted design while working efficiently to maintain the balance between hi-end design and project budgets. While I primarily work on print-based projects, I also have experience creating graphics for web use, such as rollover ads and buttons and animated .gifs, as well as background graphics and icons.
In 15 years as a freelance graphic designer and over 25 years in the design business, I have worked with clients and agencies to create many types of print projects. My projects range from high-end annual reports and corporate brochures, magazines and viewbooks to corporate ID programs, pamphlets, book design and posters. I can manage a project from concept to delivery, or just deliver finished files to a printer if the client prefers to handle the printing themselves.
Because I am a sole-proprietor, my overhead costs are much lower than a traditional design or advertising agency. I offer a superior value for clients who have tight budgets by working quickly and for a more reasonable price. Whether your project is large or small, I would be happy to help you out on it!
